Journal – there, here, now.

In, out Deep, slow Calm, ease Smile, release

(Thich Nhat Hanh)

I can be overcome in silent darkness.  Is it fear or sheer delight?  Is it escape from tragedies past or a hop, skip, and a jump into a hopeful tomorrow? “It” never ceases to stop me, to ever so gently seize me … with a shuddering thrill. Picking me up securely like the strong arms of Papa … tossing me up … soaring for a moment … then into the nest of his bosom. He is … but is not. Here, yet neh. Ever present, yet elusive. But I surely do know where to go. Quiet. Still. There. Here. Now.
